Poetry In Voice Competition

I knew that to succeed, I would need to put in countless hours of practice and dedication. After winning the senior division at our school, it was obvious that the hours of preparation paid off.

Beyond the competition itself, this experience significantly improved my confidence and public speaking skills. Even though I did not make it to the semifinals, this was not a failure for me. Instead, it urges me to improve and push myself more. I've learned a lot from this experience, and I can't wait to compete again next year with refined skills.

I am incredibly grateful to my teachers and the NCC community for their advice and guidance through this journey has been priceless, and I hope to continue growing in my appreciation for and performance of poetry. I encourage my fellow students to embrace opportunities like this—stepping out of your comfort zone.
